Creamy sautéed mushrooms

Vous avez besoin de :
  • 500 grams grey oyster mushrooms
  • 500 grams endives
  • 3 shallots, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • 20cl double cream
  • Pinch of nutmeg
Préparation
  1. Sauté the shallots over high heat for 5-10 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Cut the endives and sauté in 2 tablespoons oil. Add a little salt and the juice of 1/2 lemon. Let simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, until the endives release their water.
  3. Drain the water from the endives, and put back on the stove to cook for around one minute. Set aside.
  4. Cut the mushrooms into thin strips, and add to pan with a little oil. cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Drain any water, and brown the mushrooms for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Mix the mushrooms, shallots, and endives. Add the nutmeg and double cream and let simmer on the stove for 5 minutes.
  7. Enjoy on its own or as a side with chicken or roast.
