Coming from the same country as DIY furniture kits and meatballs, Dill can just not disappoint. This adventurous plant already conquered the cold for us to enjoy its flowers and slight aniseed taste, now it's your turn - give it a warm and sunny home.
"Dill grows from the inside out. It is thus important to harvest the outer stems." — Our mate the gardener
Dill is well-known for its everlasting relationship with smoked salmon, but did you know it goes well with broccoli, too? In this brilliant combination, your children will finally learn to adore their veggies!
Your indoor garden supplies all ingredients for a beautiful harvest: water, light and nutrients. In the case of a pod that doesn't sprout (which can happen as we work with natural materials), we will send you a new pod free of charge. Take a look at our FAQ.
Our seeds all come from French seed sellers. More than half of our seeds are organic. The substrate in which they grow is made from coconut peat and coir. The Pods are made out of bioplastic and are biodegradable: when your plants grow tired you can repot them or compost them.
includes all the ingredients needed to ensure the best growth possible for your plants: water, light, and nutrients. If your pod happens to be a little mischievous (which can happen, as with every other living product), we'll send you another pod! You can check out our FAQ for more information.
* Almost all of the seeds we work with are organic.
The pod
Thanks to our patented Float® design, you only have one thing to do: add water once every two or three weeks when the floater sinks. The plant takes all mineral salts it needs out of the water (these are released into the water over the weeks). Discover the Prêt à Pousser technology.
No worries, it's pretty common. Dill takes some time to germinate, and the rich environment of the substrate is helping the development of algae or mold. Once your plant starts to sprout and grow, its strands will cut off the access to light of the algae, and they will disappear. If the situation seems out of control, do not hesitate to send us a photo in the "Assistance" section of the application.
Actually, it happens that Dill grows flowers. You will find some flowers in the most centered stems. The flowers are tasty, too!
If you've set your light in summer modes (14h), it's normal that your plants will grow rapidly and eventually can burn. Your Dill will grow better when the light it set at spring mode, meaning just 12h of light a day.
